Herbert U. Fluhler  Founder

Mr. Fluhler holds an advanced degree in physics with 30 years experience in radar antenna engineering including systems analyses and modeling of radars and their arrays with a focus in recent years on UWB radars and arrays. Mr. Fluhler has recently invented a new class of "UWB Connected Array" designs that offer spectacular new broadband performance with low cost standard PCB manufacturing capabilities. Mr. Fluhler also has experience in numerous radar programs ranging from large (GBR-X), medium (Patriot), small (Sentinel) and very small radars (RadarVision). Prior to FreEnt™, Mr. Fluhler designed, tested and prototyped the UWB array antenna used in Time Domain Corporation's compact RadarVision through wall motion imaging UWB radar, and developed an innovative low band (300 MHz -1 GHz) multi-polarization antenna for a UWB ground and building penetration radar test-bed. Mr. Fluhler has served as a ballistic missile defense sensor systems analyst for SETA contractors, and as a Commissioned Officer for Missile and Radar Technology in the U.S. Army.
